8.5 year old gelding started him with some trepidation but he took to saddle with no drama.

The New Year has begun with a blast of heat, fire precautions are in place, hope they are just for practice. And after much hair pulling and experimentation I can sit inside the house rather than in the car up the road on a hilltop to recieve an acceptable net connection.

Finished 2011 with a upsurge in lessons and private clinics, downside of this is less time in the day to spend training the babies consequently they spend a little more time with me to reach the required levels of education.
The variety of horses coming through range from weanlings learning the basics of leading and leg handling, an 8 yr old clydie to start under saddle, t/b q/h ash arabs friesians to start and recently a couple of sorely stressed 4 yr old t/bs with serious leg handling issues and not the best to ride either. Happily we got both to accept shoeing and riding so now they may have a future.
